Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to in May 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Project Intent This project provides investigation and research, pre-design, and design services in accordance with the DFD Consultant Policy & Procedure Manual to renovate the Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse into a new practice facility for gymnastics and wrestling teams, relocate the strength center, and renovate former strength center space into new academic and research space. The fieldhouse and strength center areas will be evaluated to identify deficiencies, develop design solution alternatives, and recommend appropriate corrective measures. A feasibility study will be completed first, including phased renovation and design alternatives, to confirm program and space needs, evaluate and select design solutions to pursue, and develop and document cost estimates and supporting documentation.
