As of August 8, 2023 , project was awarded Precision Builders but awarded amount is not available The City of Norman, Oklahoma, will receive sealed bids for the following: 12th Ave. Recreation Center Improvements. Questions regarding this project may be directed to Bethany Grissom, Park Planner, at (405) 366-5475. The City of Norman reserves the right to reject any and/or all bid proposals. All bid proposals must be marked with the following statement: "RFP Number 2223-72: 12th Ave. Recreation Center Improvements" General Conditions/Scope of Work: The contractor shall make a field inspection of the project site and determine the project cost, including the extent to which all tools, lifts, scaffolding, equipment and labor methods shall be necessary to properly demolish and remove any existing material as-needed, repair or replace material as-needed, and install any/all new material (any costs associated with rental equipment shall be included in the contractor's bid). Successful contractor shall submit for approval manufacturer's product information sheet describing each material to be used on the project to the project manager. Materials will not be accepted as final without approval prior to their installation at the Recreation Center. Construction will need to be coordinated with the City to minimize impact on daily users of this City facility. All proposed work dates must be coordinated with the project manager in order to minimize impact of work on the Recreation Center's event schedule. All final site clean-up must be approved by the Project Manager prior to final acceptance by the City of Norman. Questions about this project can be emailed to Bethany.grissom@normanok.gov
