The Work will consist of an approximate 3,800 sf addition to Fire Station 6 including site preparation, concrete, asphalt paving, finishes, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical upgrades. Construction Industries Division (CID) Project Classification Determination is GB98. In accordance with the provisions of the New Mexico Construction Industries Licensing Act, all project work must be performed by properly licensed contractors and subcontractors with active licenses in good standing as of the date and time specified for Bid Opening. Prospective BIDDERS are advised of a 10% Bid Evaluation Criterion for area businesses that will apply to this Project. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total Bid amount. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Bid amount to assure performance of the Contract, and payment for all labor and materials of the Contract The City of Alamogordo reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and waive all technicalities and formalities
