The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide building/construction services for the Citys Public Works Department, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation To Bid (ITB). Q & A Extended to August 14, 2023 This project is located at the George T. Lohmeyer Wastewater Treatment Plant adjacent to the Sludge Dewatering Building, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to, demolition of a chemical odor control system that is currently non-operational. The City of Fort Lauderdale George T. Lohmeyer Water Treatment Plant (GTL WWTP) is a secured facility and is exempt from the Public Records Law, pursuant to FL Statute Chapter 119.071. Licensing Requirements: Possession of a General Contractor License is required for this Project.
