Tooele County (County) is requesting proposals from a qualified company to design and build a destination playground for the Deseret Peak Complex (DPC), located at 2930 UT-112, in Grantsville, UT 84029. The approximate footprint of the playground should be 55,000 to 60,000 square feet, or 300' x 200' - including equipment, surfacing, benches, small pavilions, permanent shade structures (no canvas shades), and seating. All equipment and surfacing must meet and/or exceed all federal, state, CPSC, ASTM, & IPEMA guidelines. Playground should have a good variety of all abilities accessible features and apparatuses with high playability. Playground should have sections for different age groups Playground must include ziplines Playground must have a recognizable theme that relates to Tooele County. Multiple designs and themes can be submitted. Construction of playground - all equipment shall be installed by a factory trained and certified installer. Any and all sub-contractors and is to provide all labor, tools, equipment, permits, engineering, plans, and any and all other costs necessary to the design, layout, and construction.
