Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials necessary to furnish and install in place one (1) Chemical Storage Building including (3) Explosion proof light fixtures (3) Tier wall shelving and with (4) adjustable building ventilations. There is a pre-quote conference scheduled for 2023/07/18. Refer to Section L.2 (Pg 28-29) for details. There will be no reimbursement for solicitation documents. Solicitation documents are the responsibility of the quotor, and the companies preparing them. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Between $25,000 and $100,000 Please contact David Paul David.Paul2@usda.gov, or Matt Hahn Matthew.Hahn@usda.gov for technical questions. 1. The dimensions of the building shall be a minimum of 176 square feet (22' x8'), with a minimum 8' 4"ceiling. 2. Metal: i. Exterior Wall: 12-16 gauge Galvanized Steel. ii. Interior wall: 20 gauge Galvanized Steel. iii. Minimum of a 3 inch air space. iv. Minimum of 3 layers 3/4 " Gypsum Fire rated panels. v. Insulation minimum of R11. vi. Roof shall be noncombustible, permanently attached to the building, constructed of steel, and sloped to facilitate runoff. 3. Building shall have a double door (60"W x 80"H) with 36" active leaf located on the SHORT END of building, primed and painted. Doors shall open to the outside and have locking accessible locksets. 4. Buildings shall have a basic electrical package consisting of 12 space 100 amp main breaker on the FRONT LEFT corner, NEMA 3R panel with an explosion-proof switch and three explosion-proof lights. 5. Building shall be ventilated with (4) adjustable 18"W x 18"H vents with insulated covers. 6. Government will provide a pad of compacted crushed stone or concrete pad as a base for the buildings. 7. The Government shall mark the location of the building on the ground prior to contractors delivery of the building. 8. Building shall have a minimum 4 hour fire rating. 9. Minimum design loads shall be i. Wall Wind Load: 70 mph ii. Roof Live Load: 40 psf iii. Floor Live Load 250 psf 10. Provide a minimum manufacturer's warranty of 15 years. 11. Government will require a contractor site visit prior to installation. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
