The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and necessary to construct two pre-cast sludge holding tanks approximately 12 feet in width, 18 feet in length, and 7 feet in height. Tanks are to include six (6) diffuser assemblies connected to an existing airline, internal decant and load out piping, a 4-inch Polyvinyl Chloride SDR35 influent piping with appropriate valving to both tanks, an overflow line for each tank with appropriate valving to isolate each tank, piping to connect the scum airlift to the headworks, an aluminum handrail at a minimum height of 3 feet 6 inches above grade, and an 18-inch square cast in place concrete ballast around the perimeter of the tanks for anti-floatation. The Bid Guarantee is conditioned to provide that if the Bid is accepted and awarded, the Bidder will enter into a contract with the County and will file a Performance Bond as required. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum of 100 percent of the Contract price for the faithful performance of the Contract. If the Bidder selects "Bid Guarantee" Option A, the Bidder may use this Bond as the Performance Bond. All questions shall be directed to the Portage County Water Resources Department in writing to Joe Andrassy at jandrassy@portageco.com. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days after the "Notice to Proceed" is issued and complete restoration within thirty (30) calendar days Any questions to Portage County Water Resources staff prior to, during, and following the pre-bid meeting must be documented in an email to jandrassy@portageco.com. The Portage County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids
