Project has been awarded to USG Water Solution but award amount is not available. the services of a qualified and experienced contractor to include our 6 reservoir tanks into a Tank Asset Management Program. In addition, all components of the tanks will be brought up to like new condition. Questions may be submitted, by written request, for an interpretation or correction thereof. Abrasive blast clean complete interior surfaces to a SSPC-SP10 Near White finish. Remove all dust and blast products by high-pressure air, vacuum cleaning or brushing and apply the first coat of paint before any surface rust develops. Using Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 5500 LT or equivalent thinned 10%, stripe paint all welded/lap seams and pitted areas with a roller or brush. Apply one (1) full coat of Sherwin Williams Corothane I GalvaPac 1K Zinc Primer or equivalent at a DFT of 3 to 4 mils to the complete interior of the tank, riser pipe, and all other interior surfaces. Apply a second full coat of Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 5500 LT or equivalent at a DFT of 5 to 10 mils to the complete interior of the tank, riser pipe, and all other interior surfaces. Total minimum dry film thickness (DFT) for the interior two-coat system is nine (9) mils. Depending on the surface temperature, the coatings will be allowed to cure as stated on the product data sheet. Provide adequate ventilation during curing. After the coating system has adequately cured, disinfect the interior using the AWWA C-652 Method 2 Spray Method and seal for service. Plate laps or voids greater the in width shall be filled with applicable backer and Sika Flex 1A or equivalent.
