.1 The Work under this Contract consists of furnishing all labour, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work of the Project, as described herein and shown on the Project Drawings. The work will include, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: .1 All Roof Sections: .1 Remove and discard the existing gutters and downspouts. .2 Remove and discard the existing snow fence. .3 Remove and discard the existing rough carpentry as required by the contract documents. .4 Remove and discard the existing metal flashings and trim. .5 Remove and discard the existing sealant and accessories. .6 Inspect the rough carpentry for damage or other issues. Ensure all materials are dry before installation of new materials. .7 Infill holes and openings in the deck left from the removal of abandoned equipment and penetrations. .8 Furnish and install new nailers and blocking. .9 Furnish and install new underlayment. .10 Furnish and install new sheet metal flashings and trim. .11 Furnish and install new snow fence and ice rake. .12 Furnish and install new gutters and downspouts. .13 Install new sealant and accessories to ensure the roof system remains watertight.
