Library Modernization Project (GC) Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127, N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et. seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, and P.L. 2022, c. 3. Bidders are also required to comply with P.L. 1977, C. 33 (Stockholder or Partnership Disclosure Requirement) and P.L. 2004, c. 57 (Business Registration provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). Sara Winchester, Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration ($18.48) Perform work at the Library Building #3 in accordance with the construction drawings and specifications titled Ocean County College Library Modernization Project issued by BKP Architects dated 6/8/2023. The list of items below is meant to point out the major work items for this project. However, this list is not all-inclusive of all required work. Please refer to the construction documents included in this Request for Bid for the work. - Issue submittals for approval by Architect and Owner. - Issue drawings to obtain all applicable permits with Toms River Township. - Remove and dispose existing book stacks and furniture - Install new flooring, ceilings, lighting, millwork and interior finishes - Protect site from surrounding building, sidewalks and pedestrian walkways. - The College and areas around the building will be in use during the entirety of this project. Safety precautions must be used to ensure the safety of the faculty, staff, students and the public at all times, including the installation of temporary, 6 high chain link fence panels as. Care must be given during every aspect of this project including deliveries, movement of materials and equipment around the building and the performance of the work itself. - The work of this RFP will be performed in one phase. See schedule below for further details. Storage containers and dumpsters will be allowed in a designated area near the building but on a limited basis and the location must be approved by the College. - Please review construction documents for the complete scope of work and work requirements. - Contractor shall have a NJ DPMC classification of C008 or C009.
