Scope of Works: A.1 Supply and installation of two (2) automatic swinging door openers. A.2 Installation on the two (2) inner doors located at the north entrance (Louise Avenue) of the Civic Administration Building (410 9th Street). A drawing has been included for reference. A.3 Heavy duty door openers capable of opening the inner doors. Installation must adhere to the CSA Standard for Accessible Design for the Built Environment B651-12, E.19.1.2.1 Power Operation. Openers shall comply with ANSI/BHMA A156.19. A.4 Openers must be adjustable for wind load and static pressure. A.5 Openers to include all hardware, including any latching mechanisms and/or door handle hardware as required. A.6 Two (2) remote handicap door push buttons that operate both openers in conjunction with the North exterior door. A.7 Contractor shall test each unit upon installation to ensure door openers function properly, including opening and closing Miscellaneous: B.1 The City shall provide a power supply to each location to be utilized for the installation. B.2 The Work must be completed during business hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Work shall not interfere with the regular course of business. B.3 The Contractor shall provide the City with one (1) week's notice prior to commencement of the Work. B.4 The Contractor shall maintain a clean worksite and shall ensure the Work does not pose any safety hazards to City employees and the public. B.5 Any door hardware (i.e., locks, openers, etc.) removed and not reused as part of the Work shall be returned to the City upon completion the Work. B.6 Any garbage, debris, surplus material and equipment shall be removed from the jobsite upon completion of the work. Additional fees are the responsibility of the Contractor. The jobsite shall be left in a clean, presentable condition upon completion. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Quotations, the City in its sole discretion may reject as non- compliant any Quotation which contains omissions, erasures; is ambiguous or unclear as to meaning or intent; is incomplete, illegible, conditional or contains a qualifier; contains any non-requested alterations or additions to the information provided by the City; is obviously unbalanced; or fails to comply sufficiently with the Instructions to Bidders. The City may, in its sole discretion, waive any and all defects, informalities, and accept any Quotation, as compliant, which it considers is in the best interest of the City of Brandon.
