The work generally consists of the replacement of approximately 1,400 linear feet (LF) of 20-inch sewage force mains, including aerial crossings and connections to existing structures in Martinez, CA. The force mains are within District easements on Union Pacific Railroad's Right of Way, Waterfront Park (City of Martinez), and Martinez Refining Company's (PBF Energy) property. The Contractor shall comply with all the terms, conditions and requirements attached to all permits, bonds and licenses required by any local, state, or federal agencies to perform work, construct, erect, test and start-up of any equipment or facility for this Contract. The Contractor shall give all notices necessary and incidental to the due and lawful prosecution of the Work The District reserves the right to disapprove scheduler when submitted by Contractor if not qualified. Rejection of Warranties: The District reserves the right to reject warranties and to limit selections to products with warranties not in conflict with requirements of the contract Documents. The District reserves the right to refuse to accept work for the project where a special warranty, certification, or similar commitment is required on such work or part of the work, until evidence is presented that entities required to countersign such commitments are willing to do so.
