Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Carson City Engine House Arches Project. This unique project provides an opportunity to construct a monument in Mills Park that will memorialize the original V&T Roundhouse. The project will consist of cast in place double concrete arches with anchored sandstone veneer salvaged from the Roundhouse demolished in the 90's, associated earthwork, landscaping, concrete, ADA improvements, electrical & site lighting for the monument. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: Carson City has determined that all bidders shall be licensed by the State of Nevada to do the type and value of work contemplated in this project. The successful bidder shall possess a valid and applicable contractor's license issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board under the provisions of Chapter 624 of Nevada Revised Statutes, at the time of submitting its bid. QUESTIONS regarding this bid must be submitted via NGEM under the "QUESTIONS TAB" and can be submitted any time up to a minimum of (4) working days prior to bid opening.
