The Project is generally described as but not limited to; 1. Front Concrete 37x44 Area Slab 4" Thick 2. Helipad 25x25 Concrete Slab 6" Thick 3. Sidewalk to fire station's side door from the storm shelter's concrete at parking lot, must be ADA Compliant, 4" thick concrete, Raise drain inlet and sloping grade to drain, possibly placement of drain pipe under sidewalk 40' long. 4. Sidewalk from Helipad to 6th Street, must be ADA Compliant, 4" thick concrete, estimated 50 ft. long and sidewalk can be center of helipad. **Quotes to include concrete and all grading for said project. Gravel and some dirt and pipe will be supplied by the Town of Garden City. ** The Bid Form, Spec Details and Contract documents consisting of the Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid Bond Agreement, and other associated documents may be examined at Garden City Town Hall - 501 1st Avenue South, Garden City, Alabama or requested by phone, fax, or email listed above. All bidders will be required to provide a Bid Bond for 5% of the bid price (maximum-$3,000) made payable to the Town of Garden City. All bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work for which a proposal is submitted. Award will be made only to competent and responsible bidders as mandated by Title 39 of the Code of Alabama. All bidders must be licensed under Title 34 of the Code of Alabama. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
