Bid date is cancelled The initial project, and basis for bids received, consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, tools, bonds, insurances, permits, clean-up, and site restoration for the construction of a new kitchen building at McNair Park located at 951 NW 27th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. The City requires a provider to construct the new kitchen building occupying 587 sq. ft. of gross floor area. Bidder's main business must be general construction and must perform the majority of the work on this project. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the City in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid Price and in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements stated herein. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time and changes in the work and to negotiate contract terms with the Awarded Bidder, and the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional bids Question Deadline 07/20/2023 at 5:00 PM 1. Secure and purchase all supplies and equipment needed in order to complete the scope of work. 2. Provide a work schedule of project duration and coordinate with the City for scheduling. 3. Perform any pre-work inspections, analysis, tests, investigations, etc. prior to performing any of the work. If gate and fence access is needed, the Bidder is responsible for any gate/fence removal and reinstallation. 4. All work shall be performed during the daytime. There will be no work completed at night, unless the City authorizes this exception. 5. All work shall be in full conformance with the approved plans and specifications designed and prepared by Bermello Ajamil and Partners, Inc. on behalf of the City dated April 14, 2023. 6. Prior to any work starting, Bidder shall safeguard all points, stakes, grade marks, benchmarks etc. to keep items protected while work is performed. If trees are located near construction activities, including the route of construction traffic, then, the tree protection detail (see McNair Plans, Tree Disposition Plans and Protection Details and Notes, sheet LTK-01). Note Landscape Standards must be implemented and approved by the Urban Forestry Division of the Development Services Department.
