Effingham County is seeking sealed proposals for the LMIG Project for FY23 and FY24 Roads for Effingham County Public Works. This project consists of various repairs and enhancements to fourteen (14) existing Effingham County roads, including Gracen Road, Saddleclub Way in the Belmont Glen Subdivision, Silver Hill Church Road, Old Augusta Road, Archer Road and others. Effingham County Reserves the Right to Reject Any/and All Proposals and to Waive All Formalities. Question Submission Deadline: July 21, 2023, 5:00 pm Question Response Deadline: July 26, 2023, 5:00 pm Addendum Deadline :July 26, 2023, 5:00 pm The Completion Date for this Contract shall be within 270 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All proposals shall be accompanied by a BID BOND in favor of the Effingham County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the BID for the complete work. The BID BOND shall be forfeited to the Effingham County Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the BIDDER fails to execute the CONTRACT and provide PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND within fourteen (14) calendar days after being issued a Notice of Award. A Notice to Proceed will be issued immediately after the receipt of the signed Contract and P&P Bonds, and the Contractor is required to execute the NTP and begin work within fourteen (14) calendar days after signature and issuance of the NTP by the County.
