The Buckingham County School Board is inviting persons or firms to submit sealed bids on the Restroom Facility for the Buckingham County Middle School Athletic Field Vendor questions must be submitted via email to brent@architecturalpartners.com The scope of this project will be as follows and indicated in the drawings and specifications: 1. The Project consists of site work and construction of a free-standing toilet facility for Buckingham County Middle School. The new building shall be located adjacent to the existing softball field. 2. The building will consist of a multi stall toilet for both Men and Women. A Family use single stall toilet and a small janitor's closet will also be provided. The toilet facilities will be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 3. The building will consist of the following: o Concrete floor slab o Exterior walls will be composed of a masonry knee wall with wood framed upper wall. Interior walls will be wood framed. Roof framing will be prefabricated wood trusses. o Walls and ceilings will be Gypsum Wall Board (GWB). Walls will receive epoxy paint and ceiling will be painted with latex paint. o Stalls located in the Men's and Women's toilets will be HDPE. Counters will be solid surface. o A standing seam metal roof will be installed over solid sheathing. o Exterior finishes will be painted masonry veneer and cement fiber board and batten siding. o Metal gutters will discharge into an underground system. o Building will be heated and ventilated only. 4. New doors and hardware shall match the existing doors and hardware in style and finish. (no exceptions) 5. A multi-level water fountain / bottle filler will be provided. 6. New concrete sidewalks will be provided to tie into existing sidewalks surrounding the building. 7. Underground storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water will be provided to tie new work into existing systems. 8. Electrical service for the new building will be provided from the existing Middle School mechanical room. 9. All disturbance of yards and the surrounding site are to be restored to present conditions. 10. The project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act.
