This contract includes the construction of a watermain replacement of approximately 2,000 feet on Highland Drive. Water services will also be installed. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all necessary erosion and sedimentation controls and will involve the restoration of roadway and lawn areas. The project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to pay all laborers and mechanics employed on the Project wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality; Non-Discrimination. The Project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to agree not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religious creed, age, handicap, disability, or gender; Mandatory Bonds and Guarantees A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid will be required. Bid guarantees, performance bonds, and payment bonds will be required in accordance with 40 C.F.R. Bonds are required to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. NH-June. All questions must be submitted by 1 PM EST, July 25th, 2023; the questions will be answered by 5 PM EST, July 28th, 2023. The PennBid website allows for bidders to post questions and Engineer responses. The questions and responses shall be considered part of the bid documents.
