The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Salvage, removal and disposal of existing site improvements, as designated on the drawings, that include but are not necessarily limited to; clearing and grubbing, complete tree removal, excavation, fencing, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb,concrete plaza, concrete stairs, concrete walls, existing utility poles (coordinate with PSE&G). 2. Earthwork. Excavation for stairs, sidewalk, stormwater management structures and pipes, utility lines, and site grading. 3. Removal of rock if required to allow for necessary excavation. 4. Installation of concrete sidewalk, concrete stairs, stair handrails, concrete stair walls and footings, and concrete stair landings including colored and/or textured surfaces as designated and specified. 5. Installation of new site furnishings, such as benches, as specified or as shown on the drawings. 6. Installation of lighting fixtures, lighting fixture foundations, and electrical services required to deliver fully operational systems (coordinate with PSE&G). 7. Installation of security and soil erosion and sediment control measures, including but not limited to: temporary construction chain-link fence, stabilized construction entrance, silt fence, soil stockpile, inlet protection, and tree protection. 8. Preparation and installation of specified landscaped items, including but not limited to: bioretention plantings, seeded lawn, canopy trees, and understory trees. 9. Preparation and installation of stormwater management measures, including but not limited to: low-profile underdrain, level spreader, stormwater management trenches and relevant piping, outlet control structures, cleanouts, and geotextile fabric. 10. Acquisition of all necessary permit(s) from various agencies having authority. Q & A deadline: Jul 20, 2023 4:00:00 PM EDT
