The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), hereafter referred to as the State, is inviting responses to this Invitation For Bid (IFB) entitled Boiler Maintenance, Inspection, Calibration and Repair Services. The Contractor shall provide required annual, monthly, and repair services for boilers and steam generators located at the various institutions, as listed in Exhibit E, List of Participating Institutions. The Contractor shall provide unlimited repair services on an as-needed basis for all boiler equipment, including associated transmitters, analyzers, valves, pumps, and sensors. Service shall be performed during normal business hours of 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (times may vary for each institution), Monday through Friday; State holidays excluded, at the discretion of the Institution Contract Liaison or designee. The Contractor agrees to provide the requested services on the dates specified by the State. Notification of Intent to Participate Bidders Walk-Through: Fourteen (14) business days prior, to in scheduled Walk-Through Submit your letter of inquiry by July 27, 2023, directly to Sonia Luna, Contracts Management Branch, by the following email address: E-mail: sonia.luna@cdcr.ca.gov Inquiries received after this date will only be addressed at CDCR's discretion. Anticipated Date for Commencement of Services: January 1, 2024 Termination of Agreement :December 31, 2026 However, if any documents are missing, or if you have any questions regarding this IFB, immediately contact the person identified below.
