The BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of HINDS COUNTY, will receive sealed bids for the STATE STREET PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS. Electronic Bids will also be accepted until 10:00 AM (CST), on WEDNESDAY, JULY 26, 2023, by electronic submission as a PDF file at State of Mississippi will be required within ten (10) days after the successful bidder has been notified of the award of the contract. Electronic files of the Contract Documents may be viewed online on the IMS Engineers Planroom at website PDF and Hard copy set of Contract Documents are also available for purchase on the IMS Engineers plan room at the contractor's expense. An official list of bidders will be maintained at website to ensure eligibility requirements of the bidder are met prior to bid opening. Any bid submitted from a bidder not on the official bidders list and/or not containing the above information will not be opened. Bids are to be submitted on the Bid Form provided per the Specifications. Segregated Bids will not be accepted. All bids submitted in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) by a Prime or Subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance, or related work must comply with DDG Project No: 18.014 the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985, by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors. The following information must appear on the outside or the exterior of the envelope containing the bid. No bid shall be opened or considered unless the following is noted on the outside or the exterior of the envelope containing the bid: 1. Name of Bidder 2. Address and Phone Number of Bidder 3. Name of Project for which Bid is submitted 4. Certificate of Responsibility/Contractor's State License Number 5. Expiration Date of License 6. The Portion of Classification of Bidders License that Applies to this Project Your bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of thirty (30) days after submission. The HINDS COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS reserves the right to waive any and all informalities and/or to reject any or all bids, and to make an award in any manner consistent with Mississippi Law, deemed to be in the interest of the City.
