A. Summary of Work: 1. Remove existing steam boiler, deaerator and feedwater system, heat recovery, boiler vent stack, hot water heater, chemical treatment, water softener, condensate receiver and all steam piping, steam valves and accessories and steam condensate piping within the boiler room. 2. Install two (2) new steam boilers and vent stacks, two (2) steam-to-hot water heat exchangers, deaerator and feedwater system, chemical treatment, water softener, condensate receiver, steam piping, pressure reducing valves and steam accessories and steam condensate piping within the boiler room. Add alternate for a domestic hot water storage tank. 3. Provide new supply steam 6 drip leg and steam trap assembly at the kitchen. 4. Provide new end-of-main steam condensate trap for the existing 4 steam line serving the steam kettles in the kitchen. 5. Provide new supply line (steam inlet) steam condensate trap for each of the existing eight (8) steam kettles in the kitchen. 6. Remove existing steam trap and provide new discharge (steam outlet) steam condensate trap for each of the existing eight (8) steam kettles in the kitchen. And connect condensate to new 2 condensate line to new condensate receiver. 7. Provide new kitchen condensate receiver to collect steam condensate from the 4-steam main and eight (8) steam kettles and pump condensate back to the boiler room. 8. Provide new JCI controllers and connect all new equipment to the existing Metasys Building Control System.
