Number: AC-STBG-G-237-1(027)E The project is in Carroll County, City of Westminster, along MD 27 from west of MD 140 Off Ramp (MP 19.02) to Hahn Road (MP 19.62) with a total length of approximately 0.66 miles long. The design proposes a shared-use path along MD 27 that will connect to the existing sidewalk along Hahn Road on the northern limits. The work will consist of the following: (a)Construction of an asphalt and boardwalk shared-use path (b)Fine milling of existing roadway and asphalt resurfacing (c)Construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk, and ramps (d)Driveway resurfacing (e)Storm drainage improvements including pipes, manholes, end sections and end walls (f)Construction of raised boardwalk structures (g)Construction of a crosswalk with associated pedestrian signal improvements across Hahn Road and replacement of in-pavement detectors with video detection (h)Stormwater management facilities (i)Signing and pavement markings (j)Clearing & grubbing (k)Maintenance of traffic (l)Erosion and sediment control (m) Landscaping Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.
