Construction of a metal pre-manufactured hangar and access improvements. Construction of a metal pre-manufactured 3 or 4 unit box hangar on a post-tension concrete foundation with aircraft bi-fold doors, concrete apron, pedestrian and vehicle slide access gates, gravel parking lot, and improved asphaltic pavement surface. The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other bidding documents for the project may be viewed and downloaded free of charge (with the option to purchase hard copies) electronically. All required Certificates of Liability Insurance shall list the Louisiana Regional Airport as additionally insured. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, provided on the specified form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Contractors submitting bids shall be licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2164, Building Construction. The Owner may reject all bids and cancel this solicitation should adequate funding not be secured within 60 days after bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any entity.
