**As of October 17, 2023, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The City of Florence is accepting sealed bids fron qualified and licensed contractors to complete weatherization renovations at 408 Chase Street, Florence, SC. The deadline for the submission of all inquiries is August 21, 2023 at 5:00 pm. SPECIFICATIONS 1. Remove old storm door and install new storm door on front porch. Remove bars off old storm door and install on new storm door. Any trim work needed, caulk, sand and paint around door casing. Adjust storm door entering house to close properly. 2. Remove all lattice around front porch and install with new matching brown lattice. 3. Rescreen all windows that are torn. 4. Repair bottom of storm window on left side of house. 5. Replace kitchen window with single hung vinyl window and any trim work needed inside and out, caulk, sand, and paint to match house. 6. Repair/patch area on back of house around A/C unit and paint to match house. 7. Replace window on back right side of house near back door with new single hung vinyl window any trim work needed inside and out, caulk, sand, and paint to match house. 8. Remove back steps and install/build a wheelchair ramp with handrails approximately 14' long with treated lumber. Paint handrails on ramp to match house. 9. Remove and replace back storm door and any trim needed, caulk, sand, and paint around storm door to match house. 10. Paint back of house, back right side and back left side of house to match existing color of house. Paint fascia and soffits in same area to match existing color of house. 11. Install valve box cover on left side of house. 12. Repair/replace chain link fence double gate.
