Bids Are Invited for Construction of Work as Follows: Install Approximately 1,000 Liner Feet of 12 Inch Diameter Pvc Gravity Sewer Pipe. Install One Fiberglass Manhole. Remove and Dispose of One Existing Manhole. The City Will Furnish All Sewer Pipe and Fiberglass Manhole. A Bid Bond in the Amount of 5 Percent of the Bid Issued by an Acceptable Surety Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid [for Those Contracts That Exceed $100,000]. A Certified Check or Bank Draft Payable to the City of Mabank or Negotiable U.s. Government Bonds (as Par Value) May Be Submitted in Lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Mabank Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Bids May Be Held by City of Mabank for a Period Not to Exceed 60 Days From the Date of the Bid Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Bidder's Qualifications Prior to the Contract Award. The work which the Contractor is required to perform under this Contract shall be commenced at the time stipulated by the Owner in the Notice to Proceed to the Contractor and shall be fully completed within 60 consecutive calendar days thereafter
