Submit your proposal with the attached bid schedule to support the proposal. The Smithsonian reserves the right to request all estimates from subcontractors, suppliers and the prime contractor supported by back up documents showing man-hours, wage rates, material quantities, and material unit costs. The proposal must be in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Wage Act. Award of this project will be based on the lowest total cost proposal. Award of this project is contingent upon the availability of funding and will be at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The work includes but is not limited to: o Provide pre-manufactured drive-in cooler to the Bamboo Storage room with an insulated roll-up door; o The cooler will accommodate a fully-loaded truck with bamboo parked inside. Provide additional cooling system to quickly cool down the loaded truck once parked in; o Provide misting system inside the cooler to keep the bamboo fresh; o Provide fire protection.
