The quote should include the removal of all galvanized fencing from the backstop on the baseball fields behind the pool, leave all existing posts in place. DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Affairs (RPCA) is requesting quotes for the replacement and installation of backstops located at Kittredge Park, 1500 Kittredge Park Road. Pricing should include to remove and dispose of the existing mesh, replace with 6 gauge core galvanized fencing with top rail and bottom rail, 1 5/8” o.d., knuckle to knuckle. The posts are spaced approximately 9’ apart and the height is approximately 12’ tall in 8 sections, 4 sections on either side of the back stop, with 4 center sections with a 6’ overhang. The overhang is to also be removed, disposed and replaced with galvanized 6 gauge core. For the other baseball field without existing fence, please price similar layout, back stop only, and utilize schedule 40 posts embedded in 3000 psi concrete a minimum of 36”, set 8’ apart, height to be 12’ with the backstop overhang at 2’.
