Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, sealed in the provided enveloped, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid. Attention of bidders is called to all the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates, encouragement of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) utilization, various insurance requirements, various equal employment opportunity provisions, and Section 3 Requirements. The Contract Documents, including Drawings and Specifications and blank forms, are on file for public inspection at the office of the ., 226 N. Miami Ave., Sidney, OH 45365. Bidders may purchase copies of the Contract Documents through ARC. Printing and shipping costs will be the responsibility of the contractor obtaining the contract documents from the printer. The preferable mode of ordering is through ARC website, or by contacting the printing company below. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject each and every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the full extent permitted by law All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
