Newburyport Eastern Bulkhead Rehabilitation: supply and install new FRP sheet pile bulkheads with concrete infill and concrete cap; demolish/dispose existing mooring piles, install new mooring piles. Estimated Cost $3.1 million *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Work consists of supply and installation of new FRP sheet pile bulkheads with concrete infill at the Peter J. Matthews Boardwalk in the Central Waterfront district of Newburyport. The work includes demolition and disposal of existing mooring piles, and installation of new mooring piles, reinforced concrete cap and attachments and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications and conceptual plans attached hereto. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the Work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner or its Architect/Engineer and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item. All questions regarding the bid/contract documents, including but not limited to a request for interpretation of such documents, must be sent by e-mail addressed to Dan Robbins at cmcgillivray@geiconsultants.com and to be given consideration must be received by 3:00 PM June 21 st , 2023.
