The project includes providing all labor, equipment and materials to complete the demolition of the structures, demolition of slabs, foundation walls, pads, walkways, ornamental vegetation, and watertight plugging or capping of the existing sanitary sewer lateral connection at the limit of the foundation demolition excavation, as well as the work associated with site restoration and stabilization activities, including temporary erosion and sedimentation controls. The work included with this project also includes furnishing, placement and compaction of fill material to bring the site to grade, furnishing and placement of topsoil, final grading and seeding and mulching all disturbed areas. The work includes removal and proper disposal of demolition debris and rubble. The successful bidder will be responsible to confirm that the utility services to the site have been disconnected and terminated with the various service providers. The project will also include providing all labor, equipment and materials to complete asbestos and lead-based paint abatement/removal and removal of universal waste and proper disposal of all waste as specified prior to the demolition of the structure Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid maybe withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien. The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated.
