Project Description: The project consists of extending the existing potable water transmission system in Ellisville, FL, at US Highway 41/441 and SE Bailey Street, and connecting to theexisting Fort White Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at 172 SW Holstein Avenue in Fort White, FL. The proposed extension consists of 52,300 linear feet of 12-inch HDPE water main, including several horizontal directional drill (HDD) road crossings and wetland area crossings. The project also includes on-site improvements at both the Ellisville WTP and the Fort White WTP, as well as one Chlorine Booster Station located at 3303 SW County Road 18 in Fort White, FL. Contractor shall obtain and pay for all necessary permits and licenses, including business licenses; pay all fees, manufacturers taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, processing taxes, and allfederal and state taxes, insurance and contributions for social security and unemployment or disability insurance, which are measured by wages, salaries, or other remunerations paid to Contractor's employees, whether levied under existing or subsequently enacted laws, rules, or regulations. Deadline for questions regarding construction plans, specifications, and/or bid documents must be received before 5:00 P.M. on January 12, 2024. The Columbia County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to add to the contract or delete from the contract to stay within their funding capabilities. The contract time shall be 270 calendar days from the date of contract execution.
