The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for the construction of a linear induction, electromagnetic, sliding gate with 20-foot opening. Work includes the provision of adjacent chain link fencing, concrete-encased underground power and communication ductwork, manholes, hand holes, and incidental related work. Please see attached Solicitation (N6660423Q0518) and all attachments, for full information and details regarding this requirement. Contractors do not have to be JCP certified to receive the Solicitation, including drawings, specifications, and photos, but they must have an active CAGE Code. If you are unable to request the attachments in sam.gov, please send e-mail to michael.n.ouellette.civ@us.navy.mil and jay.a.parker2.civ@us.navy.mil ; include company name, complete address and CAGE code. NOTE: Offeror MUST be registered in the System for Aw ard Management (SAM) to be considered for aw ard. Magnitude per FAR 36.204: Betw een $100,000 and $250,000. Method of Payment: If no surcharge is applicable, the Government's preferred method of payment is via credit card. Otherw ise, Electronic Payment through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) w ill be used. Please confirm is Government Purchase Card is an acceptable form of payment w ithin the proposal. This requirement is 100% small business set aside, NAICs 238990; $19 million RFI 0001: Deer Field Gate N6660423Q0518 1. Information is requested to know the functionality of gate: A card reader to enter, free out or another reader to exit. A: The gate shall utilize a card reader to enter and free exit (exit via sensing loop in the ground). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
