Camden County Board of Commissioners is currently seeking bids to furnish all labor, equipment, materials and appurtenance as specified on transportation maintenance projects. QUESTIONS: regarding this project may be directed in writing to the Purchasing Officer, Kelsey Kelley, at 200E. 4th Street, Woodbine, Georgia 31569. All questions shall be received by June 26th, 2023 by 5PM and answered by June 30th , 2023. Questions must be emailed to bids@co.camden.ga.us. Work shall be completed no later than November 30th 2023. SCOPE OF WORK Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for pavement chip sealing with micro surfacing and restripe up to approximately 16.5 miles with some isolated patching on some roads. The roads, mileage, and preferred method of pavement preservation & repair are listed on Appendix A. Striping will consist of traffic paint 652, 5 single white edge lines and 5 yellow centerlines and skip lines as currently painted. Removal and replacement of existing RPMs are considered to be incidental to final striping. Temporary paint will be required. Work will consist of a single surface bituminous surface treatment with #89 used for the aggregate, followed by a level micro surface course and then a single micro surface course. Laydown yard for material and equipment can be provided for the contractor to use
