his will be a multiple prime contract with a general contractor and an electrical contractor. The installation of a relocated wall-based art piece (Cantini Mosaics) in an existing interior corridor in a sub-grade level that provides access to a light-rail platform. The Work is limited, consisting of the modification of the corridor walls to accommodate the installation of a series of mosaic panels and new surrounding wall finish. Additional accent light fixtures will supplement existing lighting, and existing floor and ceiling finishes will remain. Under a separate contract, the City of Pittsburgh has engaged McKay Lodge to perform conservation of the Cantini Mosaics and to transport the Cantini Mosaics back to Pittsburgh for installation in new location. McKay Lodge Conservation Laboratory is responsible for the installation of the Cantini Mosaic Panels within the Work Area. The Contractor shall schedule and coordinate the installation of mosaic panel blocking with McKay Lodge. Additionally, the City of Pittsburgh is entering into a license agreement with the Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) and BNY Mellon to install the Cantini Mosaics and this license agreement may require coordination during construction.
