This project is a routine 20 year “make-over” with additional requirements being incorporated. This will include replacement HVAC equipment, LED lighting, expansion of the cafeteria (including some external space) and ROTC building and tennis courts. An RFP has been issued for CMS at Risk proposals with bids due July 20. Outcome of the bids will be reported to the BOE August meeting. This is required now so that the successful contractor can be involved in the phasing decisions for the project and begin to plan for materials that are still subject to supply chain delays. There are some critical phasing requirements concerning summer, 2024. A January 1, 2024 start is planned.
