VSan Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Project, CVSan Project No. 97 (2022-01) is being implemented as a part of CVSan Gravity Sewer Asset Management Plan (GSAMP). The point repairs and line replacements included within the scope of the project have been identified utilizing closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection data and prioritized based on risk and condition assessments, as well as to keep the Projects construction cost within the funding that had been allocated. The primary goal of this Project is to increase the performance of CVSans wastewater collection system and pump stations, with the intention to reduce sanitary sewer overflow occurrences (SSO) that could be triggered by inflow and infiltration. The following summarizes the proposed improvements included in this project: o 10 pipe segments, all in proximity with a storm drain crossing, will undergo repairs. o 1,260 linear feet (LF) of full line replacement will occur via pipe bursting, with existing pipe to be replaced with high density polyethylene pipe, standard dimension ration 17 (HDPE SDR 17). o There are also three spot repairs. Each Bid shall be presented undersealed cover and shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, cash or bidders bond, made payable to CVSan, in an amount not less than ten (10) percent of the bid. If you have any questions regarding the bidding process for this project, please contact us at (510) 756-4200 or via email at kyle@cvsan.org. CVSan reserves the sole right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality in a Bid. All of said work is to be done in accordance with the Contract Documents, at the places and in the particular locations, of the form, sizes and dimensions and of the materials, and to the lines and grades and at the elevations as shown on the Plans and Specifications made therefore and approved by CVSan
