This RFP seeks to solicit one (1) qualified contractor firm to provide general repair services and specialized heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing services. The provision of these services will require: A Class "A" - General Engineering Contractor, or a Class "B" - General Building Contractor license from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), as well as Class "C-20" and Class "C-36" specialty classification licenses from the CSLB to provide a range of professional quality general home repair services and professional quality HVAC and plumbing repair services that are compliant with specifications established by LAHD and general construction industry standards for the LAHD's Urgent Repair Program. The services will be provided on an emergency response basis for eligible multifamily residential rental properties and include, but are not limited to, the following: o Raw sewage removal and cleanup o Hot and Cold water restoration o Wall and Centralized Heater installations o Roof and structural repairs o Unsafe stairway repair o Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Installation o Water heater replacement o Water service piping replacement o Drain and sewer lines debris removal o Secure property
