The District Four Community Center is in suite 500 of the Crenshaw Imperial building at 2930 Imperial Hwy. The center is a vital resource for the area's residents, providing a safe and accessible space for community events, programs, and activities. The District Four Community Center's current state discourages use and participation. Therefore, the center requires significant renovations. The renovations include 1,200 square feet of wall space that requires paint, 900 square feet of flooring that needs replacing, and 900 square feet of acoustical ceiling tile to be replaced. The construction of an 8' Long x 4' 6" Wide x 8' High storage closet, installation of reclaimed wood on 400 square feet of wall space, furniture (tables, chairs, announcer's podium, and City/State/Country flags with stands), and two (2) 86" Class display monitors to be wall mounted. Additionally, the center needs Wi-Fi and networking upgrades to provide better access to the internet and information sharing for community members.
