Installation of a fence around the Splash Pad shall be completed with professionalism at all times by the Contractor. Public courtesy is a must whether it involves interactions with City personnel or the general public. The City expects that the selected individual and/or firm will hold itself to the highest possible standards when completing the work as described in this document and any contract resulting from it, for the City. The City seeks to provide this service as effectively and efficiently as possible. The City will evaluate each bid in regards to quality of service offered and costs of said services, the experience of the bidders, and other intangibles. With these aspects in mind, we will hold the successful bidder to the highest necessary standards to complete these tasks. Splash Pad Fencing: The City of Caro operates a Splash Pad at Bieth Park, in the year 2022 a temporary fence made from snow fencing materials was placed and proved to be a welcome improvement to users of the Splash Pad. During the development of the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 Budget for the City of Caro it was decided to add a permanent fence to the Splash Pad. The specifics are as follows: Approximately 300 feet of 4 foot high commercial black 3-rail aluminum flat top EEF-20 fencing. 2-4" walk gates with 2-1/2" posts. Hardware and materials included.
