As of July 20, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Contractor shall possess a Class A or C-12 License at the time of contract award. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids. By order of the Board of Supervisors of the County A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety The intent of the Plans and Specifications is to cover the complete project ready for use when completed. The Contractor shall accomplish complete installation of facilities, and any other required items to make the unit complete. All units, facilities, etc., shall be in operating condition to the approval of the Engineer. The quantities and items listed in the proposal form and contract form are given as a basis for the comparison of bids and the Board of Supervisors does not, expressly or by implication, agree that the actual amount of work will correspond therewith, but reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of any class or portion of the work, or to omit portions of the work as may be deemed necessary or expedient by the Engineer.
