The City of Meridian is requesting bids for a water treatment facility consisting of a single story, 2,800 sf building constructed with masonry block, wood trusses and asphalt shingle roof to match adjacent businesses. This facility will house the well pump and motor, storage and electrical / mechanical components, backup generator as well as the water treatment filter tank. The new building will be situated near the north-west edge of the fully fenced lot. The liquid hypochlorite tank will be installed in a below ground vault. A backwash underground tank will also be installed on-site. BID BOND A Bid Bond is required in the amount of five percent (5%) of total bid price, payable to the City of Meridian (City). Bid bond to be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract in accordance with their bid/proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part of any bids, to waive minor defects or technicalities, or to solicit new bids on the same project or on a modified project which may include portions of the originally proposed project as the City may deem necessary. The Q&A period for this opportunity ends January 12, 2024 at 12:00 noon. Questions must be submitted through the City's Bonfire portal.
