Provide professional solid waste engineering services regarding issues that may arise in the operations and environmental compliance of the County solid waste management facilityincluding, Materials Recovery Facility, Class II landfill, Maryville Baghouse Dust Site location, an inactive Sanitary Landfill located off of Aviation Blvd, Class III (lined) and a closed unlined landfill and created wetlands. The successful Offeror must be responsible for obtaining all necessary city, county, and state permits/licenses and must comply with all local codes and ordinances. Copies of such permits/licenses shall be made available to the County upon request. Building contractors working within Georgetown County must also secure a Contractor License from the Building Department To pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor. In addition, Contractors shall be required to pay wages not less than the minimum wages specified in the wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor. This solicitation does not commit Georgetown County to award a contract, to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of the bid, or to procure or contract for goods or services. It is the responsibility of each bidder to see that they submit their bids on or before, the date and time specified for the bid opening. No bid will be accepted thereafter. Georgetown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and technicalities in the bid process.
