Deadline to post Q&A to Cal eProcure 05/31/2023 The California Conservation Corps (CCC) Placer Center desires the selective interior repair and repainting of the Corpsmember Advisory Board (CAB) Building and Corpsmember Development (CMD) Building. A. Scope of Work CMD FLOOR - Remove existing base and flooring down to substrate, making needed repairs, patching, or replacement to ensure a sound substrate for new flooring installation following manufacturers instructions. Install (equal to or better than) Armstrong Imperial Texture Standard Excelon, #51938 Willow Green and #51904 Sterling in a checkerboard pattern. The new wall base will be ROPPE #177 Steel Blue. The area includes a hallway and five adjacent offices and will be designated on a floor plan provided during pre-bid job walk. FLOOR - Remove existing base and flooring down to substrate, making needed repairs, patching, or replacement to ensure a sound substrate for new flooring installation following manufacturers instructions. Install ARMSTRONG Imperial Texture Standard Excelon, #51882 Serene Blue and #51904 Sterling in a checkerboard pattern. The new wall base will be ROPPE #177 Steel Blue. The area includes the Pool Room and TV Room and will be designated on a floor plan provided during pre-bid job walk. WALLS Remove built-in wall cabinets in TV room. Remove all incidental items including nails, hooks, staples, chair mold, wainscot, etc. to bare walls. Clean all walls thoroughly using soap and water to remove foreign matter, dirt, dust etc. to ensure proper paint adhesion. Repair/patch all wall surfaces to uniform substrate. Remove and replace all switch plates and receptacles with LEVITON Decora style devices in Gray color. Light switches are to be dimmable. Paint following manufactures instructions using SHERWIN-WILLIAMS Marshmallow SW 7001 for main body color and an accent wall of SHERWIN-WILLIAMS Light French Grey SW 0055. All finishes to be glossy. CEILINGS Prep ceiling as with walls. Remove all lighting fixtures and replace with LITHONIA LIGHTING CPANL 1X4 40LM SWW7 120 TD DCMK 1 Ft. x 4 Ft. LL CPANL LED Flat Panel with 4000 Lumens. Light fixture to be dimmable with six fixtures in each room. Paint with two coats of white ceiling paint in a flat finish. Any item specified may be substituted with equal to or better than. The contractor will provide spec/tech sheets of both the item listed and the substitute item and provide a narrative as to why the substituted item is equal to or better than. The decision is at the sole discretion of the Project Manager Clean-Up During the project work the contractor will keep all work surfaces clean and free of grit, dirt, or debris. During and following the project completion the contractor will remove all excess materials and spoils from job site. Ensure that any damage that occurs because of the work is appropriately and immediately repaired. Inspection The contractor will notify the project manager at minimum three business days in advance for a final inspection/punch list review.
