The Ute Mountain Ute Tribe (UMUT or Tribe) is accepting proposals for fiber optic network materials and construction services for the expansion of its broadband network. The Tribe has received four grant awards to build middle mile and last-mile Fiber-to-the-Premise networks within its reservation. A summary of each grant and its respective scope of work is as follows: Economic Development Administration - to build middle mile fiber from the Cortez Carrier Neutral Location (CNL) to the entrance into Towaoc and then to the Public Works building State of Colorado Broadband Grant - to build a last mile Fiber-to-the-Premise network within Towaoc, Colorado State of Colorado SLFRF Grant - to build middle mile fiber from the entrance into Towaoc to the UMUT Tribal Visitors Center, last-mile Fiber-to-the-Premise for the Rodeo Grounds, and Manco Creek NTIA Tribal Connectivity Grant - to build middle mile fiber from the UMUT Tribal Visitor's Center to Teec Nos Pos, to Aneth, and a fiber connection to the Tribes Farm and Ranch, and last-mile Fiber-to-the-Premise within White Mesa, Utah The Purpose of This Rfp is to Build Middle Mile Fiber From the Entrance Into Towaoc the the Umut Tribal Visitors Center, Last-mile Fiber-to-the-premise for the Rodeo Grounds and Mancos Creek -- The State of Colorado SLFRF Grant. The Tribe will issue four separate RFPs for fiber construction and materials corresponding to each of the four awarded grants described above.
