Project Description: In-kind replacement AHUs in and adjacent to the Auditorium mezzanine at the High School. Work includes demolition of existing equipment and installation of new equipment and associated piping and accessories. AHUs are pre-purchased by owner. Coordinate with construction documents. Construction Manager will provide responses at Pre-bid conference to bidders questions and will publish via addenda. Each bid must be accompanied, in a separate envelope, by a bid bond for 5%of the bid amount or with a certified check or cashier's check. Performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will also be required, guaranteeing faithful performance of the Contractor. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the opening of bids. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time Construction Contract: A single prime contract will be awarded The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
