This project consists of the construction of a new low pressure sewer system ranging in size between 2- inch and 6-inch in diameter to serve the Beacon Hill community in Port St. Joe, FL. The low-pressure sewer system will ultimately discharge to the Beacon Hill Master Lift Station, currently under construction. The approximately length of 2-inch to 6-inch pipes are as follows: 11,900 LF of 2 ; 3,960 LF of 3 ; 1,520 LF of 4 ; and 2,260 LF of 6 . The approximately length described above is provided to contractors for information only. Contractor shall be responsible for estimating the total length of pipe per diameter as shown on the plans. In addition, contractor shall furnish and install all fittings, isolation valves, cleanouts, pressure sewer service lines to each property (developed or not) per detail PS-4 on sheet D4 of the plans, and all other appurtenances for a complete system including pressure testing. Contractor shall be responsible for field coordination with property owner the location of each pressure sewer service line. Work shall also include all surface restoration and asphalt/concrete paving cut and replacement to match existing as described on the plans. The completion date for this project will be 300 days for Substantial Completion and 335 days for Final Completion from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $500.00 per day Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid, for the BEACON HILL LOW PRESSURE SEWER SYSTEM. The City of Port St. Joe reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in their best interest.
