Notice is hereby given the board of directors for the Bethel School District, Pierce County, Washington, is soliciting competitive bids from responsible general contractors for Exterior Painting & Repairs of Spanaway Lake High School in Pierce County, Washington. Base bids will be received on the form of proposal Project location: 1305 168th Street E., Spanaway, WA 98387 From: (insert bidding entities name) (mark lower left corner of the envelope) Exterior Painting & Repairs of Spanaway Lake High School A tabulation of the base bids and alternate bids will be made available to bidders, upon request. Bidders attention is called To State of Washington Statutes, regulation and rules pertaining to, but not limited to the following for public work projects: non-discrimination in employment and facilities; rates of payment for prevailing wage and fringe benefits to workers; apprenticeship utilizations, forms of bids; bonds contracts, certificates restrictions of lien, taxes and retainage; and barrier-free facilities for the accessibility requirements. Bid security, in an amount of 5% of the bid, must accompany each bid, and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total base bid, made payable to the Bethel School District. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hour set for bid opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding 60 calendar days. The board of directors of the Bethel School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
