The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District is issuing the sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for the Overhaul Nineteen (19) Vertical Turbine Pumps at the Dissolved Oxygen Injection System Sites. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333914 - Measuring, Dispensing, And Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing. The Product Service Code is J043 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment-Pumps and Compressors. The potential magnitude for this requirement is estimated between $1 Million to$ 5 Million dollars. If significant subcontracting (self-performance is less than 40%) or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements to include the percentage anticipated to be self-performed by each party. 8. Please provide evidence of the following: a) Contractual evidence within the last five years that your firm has rebuilt ITT/GouldVTPs like those listed in Appendix A b) Current capabilities for the rebuilding/refurbishment of ITT/Gould VTPs like the ones listed in Appendix A. AND c) Current supply chain capabilities for the acquisition of required parts and material. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
