Phase 1 of Rensselaer Downtown Revitalization Plan EDA Award No. 06-79-06414 The Project includes the following Work: Site preparation; maintenance of traffic; removal, preservation and storage of existing historic bricks; demolition of various right-of-way elements; installation of storm sewer, underdrains, and watermain pipes; installation of manholes, valves, fire hydrants and other appurtenances; cured-in-place pipe lining of existing 18-inch combined sewer; subgrade improvement; installation of geogrid and aggregate bases; installation of streetlights including concrete foundations, conduits and wiring; concrete flatwork, including sidewalks and curbs; installation of new brick pavers and reinstallation of historic brick pavers; installation of streetscape furniture, signage and landscaping; and site cleaning and final restoration.
